Privacy Policy

Jubs is made by Tiago Sá. This page explains what information is handled when you visit tryjubs.com, use the Jubs app, or contact support.

Information Jubs processes

When you visit the website. The hosting provider that serves the site may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested, and the time of the request. This helps deliver the site and protect it from errors or abuse. The exact log data and retention period depend on the host’s configuration.

Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, the website saves that choice in your browser’s local storage so it can remember your preference. This setting stays in your browser and is not used to track you. Jubs does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. You can clear the saved theme through your browser settings.

If you email Jubs. When you write to support@tryjubs.com, Tiago Sá receives your email address, message, and any files you choose to attach. This information is used to reply and provide support.

In the Jubs app. Jubs does not require an account. Your selected celebration, language, and widget preferences are stored on your device so the app and its widgets can work together. The current app does not send those preferences to a Jubs server or include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Day and night scenes use your device’s local time; Jubs does not need your precise location for this.

How information is used

Information is used to serve and secure the website, remember the theme you selected, and respond to support requests. Jubs does not use the website for targeted advertising or behavioural analytics.

Where the GDPR applies, website security and support are handled on the basis of legitimate interests in operating Jubs and replying to people who contact us. The theme preference is stored only to provide the setting you choose.

When information is shared

Technical request information may be processed by the website’s hosting and security providers to deliver the site. Support emails pass through the email services used to send and receive them. These providers process information to provide their services.

Jubs does not sell personal information or provide it to advertising networks. Links to services such as Apple or X open those services, which handle information under their own privacy policies. If you download Jubs through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s separate privacy terms apply to your App Store use.

Service providers may process information in countries outside your own. Their location and any safeguards for international transfers depend on the services configured for the website and email.

How long information is kept

The theme choice remains in your browser until you clear its local storage. Support correspondence is kept while it is needed to answer your request and maintain reasonable business records. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s settings and policies.

Your privacy rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of or objection to certain processing, and a copy of information you provided. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact support@tryjubs.com to exercise applicable rights.

You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Portugal, that authority is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
